On a world populated entirely by robots, Rodney Copperbottom (
Ewan McGregor) is a genius inventor who dreams of two things: making the world a better place and meeting his idol, the master inventor Bigweld (
Mel Brooks). On his journey, Rodney encounters sexy executive Cappy (
Halle Berry), corporate tyrant Ratchet (
Greg Kinnear), and a group of misfits known as the Rusties, led by Fender (
Robin Williams) and Piper Pinwheeler (
